My Splendiferous Time Machine
My Splendiferous Time Machine
Have you ever travelled in time? Read the poem to know more about my experience in history!
One day I constructed a time machine,
In sometime I arrived in Amsterdam in the year 1714.
There I saw Daniel Gabriel Farenheit,
Whose hair was clear white.
He was constructing a dangerous thing,
I thought he was constructing it for the king.
Oh my god! Now I do remember,
He was constructing a mercury thermometer.
Finally he finished constructing the thermometer,
And to his pal, he explained its feature.
In Amsterdam, I was very bored,
So I went to a restaurant to enjoy some board.
I ordered patties and coffee,
And oranges , apples and kiwi.
Then I rushed to Daniel Gabriel’s workshop,
And made the inventor stop.
He saw me and got frightened,
‘Congratulations, inventor!’, I exclaimed.
I made him relax and explained everything,
He laughed at me and said that I was kidding.
I nodded in denial and boarded my time machine ,
Zoom! I went back in 2019.
Oh no! My time machine demolished and I was annoyed,
Suddenly, my mother said ‘ Wake up from your bed.’
I woke up and I was in my bedroom ,
Oh thank god! It was a dream.
