My potato plant -

A new potato plant is growing,

I don’t know who did the sowing.

Somebody dropped it,

but now it’s growing in the pit.

It’s only an inch tall,

and the leaves are too small.

Potatoes grow underground,

and potatoes are somewhat round.

There are many types of potatoes,

just like tomatoes.

Sweet potato and yam are some types,

potatoes don’t grow with stripes.

 

We shouldn’t use fertilizers,

or it could harm the pyramid of numbers.

Potatoes can be eaten boiled and mashed,

but potatoes can’t be eaten unwashed.
