Profound are the moments of happiness with you, mother, 

No one can displace my memories with you, 

An air of malaise fills me when I leave you, 

You are the pillar of my life mother! 

You figure out my distress from my wild gesticulations, 

I get scolded at times by your mere speculations, 

But I know, my success is the one that you desire, 

I long to give you that pleasure mother! 

Days which are swept away by the veil of darkness, 

You cherish with your smiles mother, 

My failures you help me combat and my efforts you mould, 

No one can replace our bond, 

Even the most devastating waves, 

We are inseparable... 

You are the epitome of hard work and zest that fascinates me, 

You are the shadow I follow day in and day out,
