More than a mother you've been a friend,

You have set the trend.

To teach values day by day,

In a modern way.

You have seen a lot,

You have done a lot,

Times were worst.

But change is a must.

Time has changed,

It's now that you can reduce your stack.

Hope this continues,

And you don't have to look back.

You have been supportive no matter what,

Never said, 'No you cannot'.

That has given us strength,

And has encouraged us to keep the faith.

I may not call,

But whenever I fall.

You are the one I remember,

And then I am up again to conquer.

You are the best thing that has happened to me,

You've made me independent and free.

Without you my life I cannot imagine,
