Lessons for Life

Life teaches a lesson at every stage,

Through your anger and rage.

Free yourself from the cage of the past,

For a long time, don't let it last.

For it will hamper your progress,

The deepest emotions it will press.

It will do no good,

Leave the past in the past is what you should.

Everything that happens is for a reason,

Till you know, live with the confusion.

For, you don't need to know everything;

Sometimes it's better to be unaware of something.

Stay focused on your goal,

Believe that God has given you a role.

Take risks and step out of your comfort zone,

He is always with you and will never leave you alone.

Mistakes made are lessons learnt.

Lessons that can't be forgotten for life;

Like a hand on the edge of a blunt knife.

With the hurt emotions and lost people you need to survive.

Love is not an attachment.

Love is detachment with attachment.

When you like a flower, you pluck it.

But when you love a flower, you nurture it.

Love is synonymous to respect and care instead of touch and flair.

You'll experience some things you'd only heard,

And thought they were so absurd.

Everyday seems like a bad day,

But you'll get all that you deserve in some or the other way.

Destiny has a plan bigger than yours,

Stop knocking on closed doors.

For, there are better things waiting,

So expand your vision and stop hating.

Forgive people, have a big heart.

It won't be easy but atleast start.

Instead of taking try giving

Be it love, care, respect or a positive feeling.

Good things will happen, have faith;

Stop asking for everything at once in your plate.

Dare to dream,

And you'll fulfill it however difficult it may seem.
