The small black fur ball crept into our lives like blooming daffodils.
Tearing apart the monotony and sweeping the rustness of our mundane lives.
Slept like a baby, trotted like a new born pony, eyes like deep blue sea.
Got entwined in our lives as if he was there forever.
Grew up strong but eyes filled with same innocence.
Gentle and playful, always alert by the slightest movement.
Little we knew he will leave us alone so soon to deal with unending grief.
Like distant rustling sound of leaves we still feel his breathe, his sniff.
Like an oasis of joy he was a vision, one wishes in a dry desert.
His departure has left our life devoid of fun and mirth.
He took with him what was there before and what he brought along.
In peaceful sleep he is put to sleep, with the lullaby of never waking song.
