My Admonition To A Farmer
My Admonition To A Farmer
A man was standing in the paddy field alone,
His head was down with dismay,
His shoulder drooping slowly,
He was trying to escape the drudgery but in vain,
He had no alternative but to assimilate,
The daily chores made him a botcher.
When I saw him amidst the paddy field, he gazed for some time and then spoke:
" Who are you and what are you here for?"
I said: I am only a wanderer who stopped here to praise the beauty of this lush green all around.
Then why not exchange? He said.
Give me your wandering, give me a handful of liberty of doing nothing and the uncertainties of life, freedom of enjoying the beauties of nature, without having to do nothing.
And in return, you take this paddy field with all its daily chores, all routine work and you will know what it takes to create this greenery.
I said: Yes my friend, you are the creator no doubt. Every creation has its own pain, but very soon you will learn not to bother for the toil but will enjoy the fruit of it!
