Vigilantly duplicated

 

“Shut up”, countered the heretic

The primary champion of my cause

“Don’t forget the fractured fragments of self

Crushed along the way

Indispensable at the beginning

Irredeemable and cast away”

To take a huge leap of faith

I watch in silence, disconcerted

Discretely making notes

As my companions compete

Seeking my concurrence

The combat continues

Hesitation and confusion

Building barricades

Moments of surety fleeting

 

I let the voices

Debate

To fall asleep, fatigued

These demons inside my head

My benefactor

My Friend, my foe

They hang around

To pick another day

To decode the dilemma
