Literature and Young Minds

In a flickering mind

Shadows play and daylight looms.

A teen mind stirs with chain of thoughts,

A stream of consciousness wandering present and past.

        Literature, a world so wide,

        Where heroes live and villains hide.

        Where love blooms and battles rage,

        In every line a wisdom sage.

Gives peace to flickering faze.

A curious heart an inexperienced mind

Through every chapter a lesson learned,

An experience gained a fire burned.

       So let them wander in poem and prose,

       So let them read, and let them dream,

       So let the flickering mind set to soar,

       In the world of literature forever more...
