Incognito
Incognito
Dressed in multi-colored dotted attire
He made my birthdays very special.
Back then I thought his name was joker
Always dancing around with a broad smile.
I saw him at several parties again
And it dawned to me when I grew up
With real skin, he is a real man
With a real face under all the make-up.
What does he look like? I wondered.
What is this joyful exterior concealing?
Is he a man with a wife and kindred?
What made him choose this living?
I stared at him surrounded by kids
Playing tricks and juggling the rings
I put an end to my racing thoughts
And cheered as he dissolved the knots.
