Some call me their mother (maa) 

Some call me their daughter (mayen) 

Some say I am the goddess of shakti (power) 

Some say I am the goddess of knowledge

Some say I am a creator 

Some say I am a destroyer

I am an immortal for you

But I say I am just like you, 

I am one of you 

I am Durga.


You are a human

But yet I silently lie within you

Sometimes calm like Parvati

Sometimes ferocious like kali

You belong with me and I belong with you

I am a lifeless immortal

Until and unless you keep me alive

Within you. 

Asche bochar abar hobe.!
