Guru Purnima

  Why can't we just spare a day

  To respect those, who paved our way

  From the sun, faster than a ray

  Making our mind in a total array 

  Guru’s gave us light

  They turned black to white

  Taken wisdom’s might

  As free as a kite

 They help us the gain

 In a way without pain

 Be it shine or rain

 They stop our bane

 They help us achieve

 And by the time we leave

 We are ready to face

 The outer world's race
