Forgotten
Forgotten
The pain of labour is but a forgotten story
For nine months the load an extra weight
The daily chores done with no payment
The late nights while the world sleeps she stays awake to complete her chores
Early before the sun shows its face she's awake and working
At birth of her child the late nights continue
The early morning light she's awake before the whole house awakes
When the sun goes down her energy all gone she sits alone
The cuddles the hugs all gone when they're all grown
They marry they forgot her
To the care centre she is put there to be taken care of
The forgotten woman she becomes
At old age no love no care no hugs and cuddle
In a home that was never her home back than
