First Job- Learning experience

As I first stepped

Into an unfamiliar world

Came across new faces

Never seen before…

Walking alone amongst strangers

With sort of nervousness and fear

A chill ran down my spine

As I didn’t know which way to go…

It’s my first interview

I’m ready with my documents

Many questions revolving in my mind

When I see a candidate’s strewn all over…

My turn was nearing

Could hear the watch ticking

Goosebumps were showing

Every inch that I was nearing…

In front of me lay a panel of interviewers

Waiting to bombard their questions

I held on to my lucky locket

And nailed it with correct answers…

Each day was a new learning experience

With minute detailing and accurateness

Not the slightest mistake would be tolerated

Out would come letter of termination…

As days kept passing

Workload was increasing

But all that I learned in there

I am still applying…

Whatever hurdles may come

We ought to believe in ourselves

Life is never gonna be easy

Failures are stepping stones to success…

So be an inspiration
