Every Now And Then
Every Now And Then
Every now and then
I tread the dark path.
Silent woods running deep,
The darkness enveloping within.
Every now and then,
I walk further into the dark.
The trees pulling me deep,
The leaves blocking out the light.
Every now and then,
I lose my path,
Letting the darkness
Engulf me fully.
Every now and then,
The eerie silence
The wailing echo
Lets me breathe.
Every now and then,
I walk the dark path
Absorbing it within
Until I reach the sea.
There it waits for me,
The glimmering light
Of the moon and the stars,
Enough to light up the sky.
