Eight Brothers

Parts of Speech: ( For little kids )

I am having eight brothers as Parts of Speech,

Read and learn to know more depth in English.

Noun is a person Ram, Hari, Sita

Place is Pune , thing is book, name The Gita.

Pronoun takes noun place,

They for Children, She for Grace.

Adjective modify Noun and Pronoun,

Happy, good, rich and colour brown.

Verbs tell us how to call, come, cut, in two flow,

Helping –am, is, are, Main- fall, fell and grow.

Adverb modifies a verb, other speech - how and when,

Except for Noun and Pronoun as quite as often.

Preposition placed before a Noun,

Just like to bed, in the garden, and to town.

Conjunction join word, sentence to come across,

But, For, Before And Because.

An interjection is last but not parts of speech,

Ah!, Alas! Hush! Good heavens!

Except, Well done! What a mess!
