Dreams

I'm sitting on my desk

Mind wandering around,

Dreaming with my eyes open

Seeking for a window round.

Those dreams of mine

Seem unrealistically insane,

But all I want them is to be

Alive and mundane.

Everywhere I see

Are the restrictions,

Why can't I just

Give it a try.

Stop locking me

In the dungeon of social barrier,

Cause my dreams are

Something I can die for.

All I want to achieve heights

Without discrimination of rights,

So I take an oath

To stand by my dreams.

But before they shut you down too,

Stand up against the chain

Of the cruel murderers

Who killed your dreams,

Set your dreams free

Even if you have to die for it.
