Delayed Flight

Dear God, I know that you want,

Me to fly and touch the sky.

You have made me an achiever.

Never accepting defeat in life

You taught me to get up when I fall.

And rise like a Phoenix bird.

Whenever my dreams are burnt

By the cruel hands of destiny

But why me, God? A devotee like me

Suffering in life for no mistakes?
