Dad’s Magic
Dad’s Magic
Trying to hold my tears so that mum couldn’t hear,
Pretending to be childish as dad is here.
I went to get some air.
And realised, we have so much weights on our shoulders to bare.
I took a long breath,
And reminisced the day when I went with dad to a fair.
I closed my eyes,
There I see phosphenes.
They reminded me of the butterflies I had in the ferris.
I smiled,
There I see dad’s grin that I saw from ferris’ top.
I exhaled,
The weight was vanished.
I opened my eyes,
There is see dad smiling as usual, hiding his pain.
I hugged,
It reminded of hope, love, care and magic in this infinite universe.
