Colours of Frozen Time
Colours of Frozen Time
Soft lead scratching endlessly on white paper,
Ramblings of gold-sown sunsets;
Blood red dawns thundering onto blue skies.
Wine seas calling for shattered mirrors,
Foam is frozen in time,
Mindlessly feeling –
Whispers of colours falling on tips of pink tongues,
Explosions of broken kaleidoscopes
Seconds melting away
Into shreds of torn fields,
Green grass flowers floating, searching for nothing.
No matter the tangled paths,
We walk into secret gardens;
Shelters of leaves woven into time –
There is no purpose here but magic,
No movement here but
The stillness of your hand in mine.
You have been immortalized as
A written drawing, chaos beating
Through our frozen hearts.
No more questions, all is void.
