Black Thoughts
Black Thoughts
My skin is black but my mind is bright
They see me dark but my ways are luminous
When I held the mic they hate my voice tone
They judge me by the look not knowing my heart is better fashion
From the dust to dust-coat
From village to the world
Black thoughts judge the VOICELESS
Unlike milk and water, their solution is useless,
Black thoughts forced us to stereotype,
That education is the only key to success without showing us the lock for these keys,
Black thoughts judge my poetry without understanding the ingredients in it,
Black thoughts,
Like a storage building, I'm much smart upstairs,
Like a crane, I lift my dreams higher,
Black thoughts focus on the black spots,
They forget to say good about me,
Black thoughts expect too much but reality hits differently,
Black thoughts like a tortoise hide its shell when fear knocks in.
Black thoughts fear fighting for their rights and freedom.
Oh wake up Black thoughts,
Stop judging,
You know nothing about laws,
Black thoughts have mercy,
Black thoughts learn to assist,
Black thoughts support,
Black thoughts are human enough,
Black thoughts understand each other,
Black thoughts please forgive,
Black thoughts please withdraw,
Black thoughts stop blackmailing Africa.
