Back in high school, I got my cycle Hero

At rupees 650 it was a burden for dad Nero

Riding it was fun but then came Bsa Slr

Contentment gave in and Hero became Zero

Embarrassing falls and curses from strangers

Hero and I both abused 5 years in a row

Cycling made me grow or DNA we will never know

Parted with my Hero for a mere 300 rupees

I thought I outgrew my cycle until now

Three decades later, I again want to be a Hero

With my new cycle Btwin, I will start from Zero
