AFTERNOON TO SELENELION

I strolled along the beach when the sun was up high,

Sweating, puffing and panting, letting out a sigh!

Looking here and there, for some shelter,

As I couldn’t control the boiling swelter!

 

Just then, a cool wind blew over me,

I looked up and saw some water far to be,

Running there as fast as possible,

It had disappeared! Oh, it’s so improbable!

 

I saw a girl standing in a distance,

I confirmed her existence,

Speeding over to her, as quick as lightening,

She was friendly, not frightening!

 

“Hello!” I waved to the girl,

She looked at me and made a twirl,

Coming up to me and saying hi,

I noticed her eye was as dry!

 

We chatted for some time, time really flew,

My body’s heat had gone through,

I realized it was evening, time to go,

But the sky actually said no!

 

I understood why, a phenomenon so natural,

The sun and moon were together, for actual!

Experiencing the selenelion, oh so real!

What a wonderful and extraordinary feel!
