A Wish
A Wish
The day you came in this world
You got the protection you deserved,
We, as parents never wanted you to suffer.
All the comforts and luxuries,
Chocolates, candies, and lollies,
To see you smile we made thousands of gestures,
You were the angel sent to us from heaven.
Then the day came when you had to face the world,
How much we feared can't be uttered,
But we had to be strong,
A flower can't bloom if scared of thorns,
You wanted to grow,
Be independent and show the world your glow.
You faced the challenges,
Worked around and with the savages
Your success is our victory,
For all the sacrifices and misery.
Our wish is only one
You should always value your dignity,
Even when people around you leave their sanity.
You are our dream come true,
You can't imagine your value,
Reach to those heights where we could only think,
May your heart never break or sigh,
And all your desires get fulfilled in the blink of an eye.
