A Trip To The Zoo

A trip to the zoo

With children of a school

To see animals old and new

We waited for tickets in a queue

Firstly a majestic elephant welcomed us

Few Crocodiles with their mouth open we saw thus!

Snakes in their cage crawling their way

Ducks and cranes having a fine stay

Lions and tigers ferocious as can be

Deers, black cats, wild dogs and many birds to see

Many Butterflies in their butterfly zone

Night birds like owls and bats sit in their home

Many peacocks in their fences

Monkeys jumping here and there in their senses

My schoolchildren enjoyed their day at the zoo

Happily, we returned home satisfied and amused
