A Thousand Lives

When I look around

I see nothing but fear

In the eyes of most.

There lies hidden pain

Which nobody know's

I see it 

Because I'm not real

I feel it

Because I've lived 

A thousand lives over

Been down

Every street corner

Through life alone

There's no hope for these people

Because they never searched 

For them they accept things

Is there fate?

And take the easy way.

While there inside are dying 

And their pain grows.

They long to be freed.

In a world of lost dreams

And hopes that were never meant to be.
