A Journey Towards Light

Let your mind be open,

Let it surrender to all possibilities,

Let it push you to the brink of insanity,

Let it pull you back to reality.

Allow it to make you devour the sweetest,

Allow it to make you nauseous,

Allow it to taste everything before it chooses its favourites.

Fall for the wrong,

Treat the suffering with smiles,

Let it pretend if it wants.

Fly, swim, crawl or walk,

Let it taste the oceans before you go taming it.

Let it confess its horrible lies,

Look the truths in the pensieve if you must.

Break, hurt, smile or cry,

Count your blessings if you must.

Let it stay awake at nights,

Sleep in the day,

Let the hunger consume the nerves,

Let the drinks fight mind wars,

Let the smoke burn and singe the soul,

Let it feel one with the light

And afraid in the dark,

Before you go ahead taming it.
