None Debasish Banerjee was born in Durgapur,West Bengal in the year 1979 on 1st August.He completed his Master's in English from the Burdwan University of West Bengal.At present he is teaching as a teacher of English literature and language(TGT) in Arcadian Public School, Mathura,Uttar Pradesh.
Some of his short stories appeared in the quarterly journal Border View from West Bengal where his short story A Letter from Pakistan was highly praised.Some other Bengali online and print magazines Samantaral Sahitya Patrika, Barnik Sahitya, Anubhuti Prakashan, Ujan Sahitya Potrika have also published his English short stories.Recently, his short story "A Guardian Signature" got published in the CLRI( Contemporary Literary Review India)August 2020 issue. The short story " Golok Bagchi's Silver Coins " also appeared in the same prestigious journal (CLRI) in its November issue. His fiction titled "The Rose was as Vain as the Geraniums" has been appeared in the YAWP Little Magazine (Silchar, Assam). Renowned publication Kitaab International published his short story "His Las Clay". His short stories "His Paradise Lost" and "A Letter from Pakistan" appeared in a Bengali newspaper Shilpaneer(ISO 9001 2015 certified). He has been awarded for the Best of Best writing's category by the online Bengali magazine Samantaral Sahitya Patrika. Recently Debasish Banerjee has been short listed for the INDIA PRIME 100 AUTHORS AWARD 2021 organized mainly by Zee News and Hindustan Times. Read less
