The author, who belongs to Delhi (India), and prefers to be called 'eMKay' (short for Mohanjeet Kukreja), is a Pharma professional, holding a master's degree (M. Pharm) from University of Delhi; who nurtures writing as a passion.
He loves to write poetry and stories about various aspects of life.
His understanding of the words used in Urdu poetry is truly remarkable, and using a very beautiful blend of Hindi and Urdu, he has written on almost every possible theme, be it romance, life philosophy and of late, Sufism.

(1) "अभिव्यक्ति...एक काव्य संकलन": a wonderful, maiden collection of his poetry, with a select-mix of ashʻār, kavita, nazm, qat.a and ghazals from his shayari.
(2) "मनगढ़ंत" (Hindi Short Stories): This collection of his crisp stories includes Two world-famous stories - 'The Mark of Vishnu' By Khushwant Singh and 'The Gift of the Magi' By O Henry - translated by the author from English.
(3) “Within and Around” (Short Stories): A concoction of twenty-one beautiful stories as his first book in English and is certainly a must have! Like last time, It contains English translation of two world-famous stories: ‘Sona – The Doe’ By Mahadevi Verma and ‘Open it!’ By Saadat Hasan Manto.
(4) “Four Pillars Five Stories” (Classic Short Stories): From the era of Neo-romanticism (Chhaayavaad Yug) of Hindi literature, there were four writers/poets, who are considered as aadharstambh (pillars) – Mahadevi Verma, Suryakant Tripathi Nirala, Jaishankar Prasad and Sumitranandan Pant. This collection is an English translation of five great stories by them.
(5) "ख़यालात - चंद ग़ज़लें": A beautiful collection, of fifty-one meaningful ghazals, which is simply a delight!
