The Proposal!

“What about your married life?” 

“I was married for a year before my wife passed away in a car accident.”

“In my case, we got divorced as it wasn’t going well.”

I had bumped into Raj at a mall. I was madly in love with him while in college, but it had not materialized. 

Sipping hot coffee with him at a cafe, I wondered if it was a possibility now...

He looked at me, held my hand and asked, “Will you marry me?” 

I smiled back.
