Poetry : Bhook (भूख)

Poetry : B Hunger! What is hunger? Simply the absence of food on someone's plate, an empty stomach or a hard reality of the society; between the rich and the poor, between the heavy lockers and the empty sacks or between the skyscrapers and the lost huts beside it? It's strange that being the part of the same world, residing under the same sky, sharing the same badge of species, we are still categorized based on some man-made numbered papers! How can these papers solely define our identity, our existence and moreover create such a huge differentiation between the mankind itself? No, it should not be that way. Let's contribute in creating a world where no one goes to sleep with empty stomachs, where no one's identity is questioned based on one's locker's size and where happiness is not measured or accessible by acquired wealth. Hope one day everyone gives more weightage to humanity and lives peacefully with love and respect distributed equally to each one's plate!
