It's generally observed that people mock at your modesty and the belief system is tuned to consider it as a symbol of weakness. So, knowingly or unknowingly, the ruthlessness or toughness takes over the humility or politeness in most of the scenarios. But it's the responsibility of the intelligent one to take the right step in the right direction at the right time because to let go of your self respect and let someone to demean your self worth every now and then, is not the work of a hero, but of a coward. So, it's better to know when to give way for a peaceful treaty and when to let the strength precede, to make a perfect balance for a happy surrounding to live in! Hope you all take the apt decision as guided by the circumstances and keep moving fearlessly towards your goal.
