How is liver transplant process done? After how many days can you get a discharge after transplant? What is the follow up process and how much can it cost? What is life expectancy after transplant? You should take all this information from your team before a liver transplant.

In the first stage of liver transplant process, your doctor takes information about the history of your liver cirrhosis. In which they can ask you some questions like, how long have you had liver cirrhosis, what is the reason for it, what symptoms of liver cirrhosis are you having.

If you have done some tests in your previous hospital, then your liver transplant team checks about that too.

If even after doing all these tests, the team does not get complete information about severity of your cirrhosis, then your liver transplant team may ask you to do some tests or scans. Only after doing all these studies, your team decides about your liver transplant.
