Guys, it gives me great pleasure to bring to you Episode 17 of The Attitude Makeover Show to talk to an expert about conceiving a women's support network. With me today is the one-of-a-kind Saritha Hegde, who by all inclinations is a true champion of women empowerment everywhere. Saritha was the Senior Vice President at ‘Li and Feung’ until 2020 when she decided to begin her own enterprises titled ‘Not Just Hot’ which specialises in gourmet wok hot sauces, and Friday Convent a professional women’s support network.

If you have a dream of your own that you’re wondering if you should pursue, but are hesitating to take the plunge, then you need to listen to what she has to say. Saritha talks about some of the challenges that you are likely to go through when you leave the comfort of a high-paying successful job and begin something new that isn’t as fashionable. She describes the effects that this can have in your personal life and some of the key mindsets required to keep your ambitions alive.

In the spirit of openness to such change, she began Friday Convent, a women’s support network with the goal to facilitate leadership, empowerment and economic development of women. She traces aspects of this ambition back to her matrilineal background and believes strongly in the process of self-discovery and finding the little joys in life while at it. “It’s all about doing what is important to you”, she says firmly!
