Foundation of life - Mud games

Those wonderful evening in mud in rainy season, were the best part of monsoon I had. Living in a flat with nice bunch of friends was the other part which I always enjoyed, made my evenings adventure. Mom says I use to do my homework just after reaching home from school even before changing the school uniform, so that I get to play more.

Having a fun park in front of your house is even more motivating factor. Monsoons are best time to play with mud. With my flat buddies, we use to make house, some shops and so many things from mud. Just explored our minds with handful of mud, everyone showing their creativity. Throwing mud on each other some days, then getting scolded by our parents for the same. So important part of childhood, it was! Adults in our flats played with mud only once a year, i.e. on HOLI. How sad!!! I always wondered. Oh so childhood memories!!

Ever wondered how important MUD GAMES are for a child? It is very integral part of a kid. Fun, memories, creativity, everything. Mud games are not dirty but today's society is 'too clean' for these games. Just indulge your kid and yourself in these games sometimes, its important scientifically. Involves your kids brain completely.

I never see children playing such games today. Societies have very sophisticated environment. Cleanliness is important and people do not allow their kids to play in MUD. Not everyday, but there should be some days when kids are excused from these rules. For some days just let them be a kid.

Kids might create something unexpected at their age from mud games. Let them explore their own creative side or maybe you can explore yours too with them. Most importantly, these things might keep your child away from stress and anxiety.
