Welcome 2018

I welcome 2018 with an excitement,

What it stores, a mystery

Will it do me a favor

Or will it create a glorious history?

I start the first day of year,

Singing a prayer and offering flowers

To the omnipresent, Almighty Lord

Whose plan never gets spared.

As the sun of the new day shines

Portrays a beautiful world

I would imagine it to be free

From any kind of prejudice and war.

Poverty to be perished certainly

No distinction on caste, colour and region

Each one should be treated equal

Peace and fraternity- ultimate notion.

Success overcomes failure this time

Hard work and dedication not go in vain

Faith should be the strongest of all

Development runs in everyone's vein.

I just hope it to be a memorable year

For each one of us to witness

To capture every moments in heart and

Loads of achievements to embrace.
