I Talk To Myself

All through my life I lived alone,
So I talk to myself even in rain.
Some say it’s a mind wandered and gone,
I say I am trying to keep it sane.

Dark nights and black forests, I truly fear
So I sing at night to scare away my fear.
How can they say my mind is insane?
I’m just trying to keep it sane.

I sit and stare at nothing for long,
They say, in my mind something is wrong.
How can they say my mind is not strong?
I am just trying to compose a song.
