It's Bullying, Not Teasing

It's Bullying, Not Teasing

"Teasing is good, bullying isn't"

This is it, nothing anymore

If you think the same

Let me tell you there's so more.

So what, if I tell you

That your waist is vast

Or your chin is skinny,

That your hair is like a nest

Or your pimple's shape is funny.

I am your friend

Isn't it just a good friend's advice?

I want you to look fabulous.

So what, if I praise you

At the same time being jealous.

I do praise you sometimes

Isn't it that what matters?

So what, if I always tell you

How to dress up

Or what cosmetics to use.

I am your big sister

Isn't that what I should teach?

So what, if I always lookout

For the right moment

With the right amount of crowd,

To mock your squeaky voice

Or to show them you don't smile.

I am your neighbour

Aren't these my social rights?

So what, If I don't care

About the silence that you hold,

When I give you golden advice

With a cheeky smile.

You are a keen listener.

It feels good and equally right

After all, I am helping you

To be a copied version of mine.

Hence it's not bullying

It is just teasing with a positive spirit

Here I finish my lecture

After keeping it for the past four months,

You know I could just

Hold things for like two days.

Meet me more often, okay?

Maybe It's your time to speak

Or not, whatever.

The other one's perspective-

I listened to you till the last.

Now that it's my turn

I think you're right

I am up to no good

And there's so much I got to try

So I looked at myself

The way you do,

I couldn't feel your feelings

Not a single one

Are you sure they're true?

I did feel a bit of hatred

And a sense of imperfection

Sure I'm getting it wrong

Because you meant it different.

The next time when you told me

All over again

I listened to it to find out

What I missed earlier; and failed.

So I remained silent last time,

Earlier and earlier to that too

Maybe because I couldn't become

Your copied version who speak out bluntly

And hurt all in a queue

I am a keen listener and a reader as well

All the good books have taught me

"Hard work", "goal" and "purpose"

None of them ever asked me to

"Look good", "fake smile" and "be perfect".

You may have a purpose in life,

But I got a different one

And probably the better one

At least for me, if not for others.

Your words might have worth

For someone like you

I don't enjoy them clearly -

Read my face.

So if you still keep doing it

Just because I won't hurt you

And you love it.

I might speak out one day

And I will tell you that

I am so sorry I can't be you.

You are so beautiful and perfect

In every aspect and I accept,

Except your nose has grown too long

It keeps coming into my business.
