You Are My Hero
You Are My Hero
For little Aarav, the world began and ended with his father. He followed him everywhere—whether it was fixing a broken chair, tending the garden, or simply sipping tea on the veranda. Aarav’s tiny eyes sparkled with admiration at every gesture, every word, every step his father took.
He copied his father’s walk, his way of folding sleeves, even the way he tilted his head while thinking. “Papa, when I grow up, I’ll be just like you,” Aarav often said, puffing out his chest with pride.
His father would smile and ruffle his hair, replying softly, “Be better than me, my son. The world needs your light, not my shadow.”
But to Aarav, his father was already the bravest, the kindest, the strongest man alive. When his friends played superheroes, Aarav didn’t need a cape. He would simply declare, “My Papa is my hero.” And to him, that was enough.
Years later, when challenges came Aarav’s way, he remembered his father’s patience, his courage, and his unwavering honesty. He carried those lessons like invisible armor, facing life with resilience.
He realized then: he wasn’t just imitating his father, he was embodying the values that made him a true hero.
Moral: A father’s greatest legacy is not in what he does, but in the inspiration he leaves behind. True heroes are those who teach us how to be strong, kind, and fearless.
