Viraj And Veer's Adventure

Veer was very excited because he was going to his village to stay for 10 days. In the morning, Veer woke up before everyone and was bored. So he decided to wake his mother up.

He said excitedly, "Mom, when are we going to our village?"

His mother said "Veer you are awake at 4:30. Sleep a little bit so you will be fresh while going to our village."

Veer sighed, " Ok "

After some time he woke up and saw everyone getting ready except for his big brother, Viraj.

So he woke Viraj up and said

"Hey, wake up quickly we are going."

Viraj told him, "Ok, Ok" and slept again 

Veer got angry and started to move him rashly.

Viraj said "Ok! I am waking up ."

After some time everyone was ready.

So they all went down in their garage and sat in their car.

After 8-9 hours they reached their village.

Veer was very happy 

They all got out of the car

Veer hugged his grandma and grandpa.

Everybody saw how happy Veer looked 

His grandpa told Veer

"Hey, Veer you look happy."

"Yes," said Veer

"Do you want to see the fields and come with me to gaze at the cattle? "

Veer excitedly said "Yes! Please I would like to come with you."

His grandpa said "Tomorrow wake up early. We will go together with Viraj."

Veer asked, "Do you take the cattle to gaze early in the morning?"

His grandpa said "No, first we go to see the fields. It will almost take an hour. "

It was 8:45 in the evening and everybody had just finished their dinner.

After half an hour they went to sleep

The next morning Veer saw his grandma plowing some seeds in their backyard 

He asked her "Have you seen where is grandpa?"

She said "He is in the barn"

He quickly ran to the barn 

When he opened the door, he saw grandpa cleaning the barn

Grandpa said, "So, are you ready?"

Veer said "Yes!!"

Grandpa said, "Oh, wait something is missing!"

Veer said "Viraj !"

Viraj was sleeping on the bed

Veer woke him up and said "Hey, get up. We are going to see the fields of grandpa. "

Veer and Viraj went to grandpa.

Grandpa said, "Are you ready?! "

 Veer and Viraj said "Yes, grandpa"

So they started their journey.

Grandpa said "Remember, you must not go near the wells or the fields alone or you might fall in the well and there could be a snake in the fields sometimes even a tiger! "

Veer and Viraj said "Yes, we will not go near the well and the fields alone"

One by one they saw every field and then they went home 

They had their breakfast and Veer asked his grandpa "Now can we go to gaze at the cattle? "

Grandpa said "We will go after half an hour as it is 11:00 and they gaze at 11:30 "

So they played a little bit and a few minutes later grandpa said "Kids are you ready to go gaze at the cattle?"

"Yes grandpa," said Veer and Viraj 

So all animals ran outside their houses

Grandpa had 2 cows, Brownie and Moony, and 7 goats, Billy, Nanny, Dotty, Tinny, Wooly, Lambert, and Fluffy.

Grandpa said "You handle the goats and I will handle the cows and help you"

Grandpa gave a long stick to Veer and Viraj and said "Here, a stick so if the goats run away you show them the stick so they will get back into his group. " 

So they started going to the field. The cows started jumping and the goats started bleating happily.

They went to the hugest field. All the animals started gazing.

Veer and Viraj thought that they will not move so they both sat under a big tree.

Suddenly, Fluffy started running to the other field

Nobody noticed it except Veer. Veer started running behind Fluffy and Viraj started running behind Veer

Viraj shouted, "Hey, Veer where are you going?"

"To catch Fluffy " shouted Veer

Viraj increased his speed and caught up with Veer 

"Hey look it is going near the well," said veer

Veer ran behind it but Viraj stopped him and said "Don't run ahead, there is a snake over there it might be poisonous. "

"But what about Fluffy ?" said veer.

Viraj shouted "Grandpa, Fluffy is running near the well. It might fall down. "

Grandpa played his flute but Fluffy didn't come back. Everyone comes back when grandpa plays his flute except Billy.

Behind grandpa sound of bleating came. It was Fluffy! But who was the goat near the well?

Oh no! That is Billy 

Grandpa gave his flute to Viraj and said "If the animals run away play the flute!" 

I will go bring Billy.

Grandpa ran through the field with a stick in his hand

He showed Billy the stick but Billy ran to the house because grandpa had trained everybody.

Sometime later Billy came again and started eating 

In the evening grandpa and the brothers took the cattle to their barn 

It was dinner time in few minutes

So they all washed, ate their food, and slept.

The next morning grandpa asked Veer and Viraj "Would you like to come every day and help me gaze at the cattle?"

"Yes, we would love to," said Viraj

From that day Viraj and Veer went to their village once in 2 months.
