Twin Swords

This story is based on some recurring dreams that have haunted me since I was young. 

I have taken the names of some characters from famous novels and comics from the '90s and 2000s. I have also included characters from anime and manga, as well as mythical creatures from Greek, Norse, Japanese, and Chinese mythology. Some of the clans mentioned in the story are descended from ancient warrior clans who are said to have come from the heavens, while others are from the underworld. The places described in the story are a mix of imaginary and real locations. The swords mentioned in the story are not self-proclaimed or created, but are from mythology and some are even from games we played in our early teenage years.

At the time of the e_do period, a king lived in Japan and conquered every bit of Japan. at the same time when he is in the war period, he gets the good news that he is going to father to twins. On the other side of the world (a world filled with darkness and demons) were happy that a demon king was going to bear for them. to rule the dark world (underworld)

10 months passed...

now the time has come. the twins are going to be born and the king orders them to make two swords for his both sons. the priests who are in the courtyard are disturbed and the king comes in and asks why the disturbance. they said nothing and the king left the courtyard to see the twins. the swords were ready and the day had come. The choosing ceremony has begun.

After two days...

finally, the ceremony started. the twins are in their places to choose each sword. the younger one went first to pick the sword (the sword he touched glowed with heaven's light). the elder one went to pick the sword (the sword he touched became one with black thunder and the color of the sword changed into black). 

After Two Years Passed...

the king has decided to train his sons. the head priest came to the king and told him that one of his sons was going to be the next generation demon king. after listening to that king's heart tremble anthe d king asked that is there was anything that we could change in the future. private st said there is no way to change the future.

Days passed...

training has started.... in between the war period the people who were forgotten by both demons and angles are the fallen angles (these are the abandoned angles from heaven before many decades) their appearance looks like angles with black wings these are the people who need to stop the war between the demons and angles. the lost kingdom of the fallen angel's king is named "Kouji Akatsuki" Akatsuki is the name of the clan that abandoned angels. for the past two years and six months, the people of that kingdom have been spying on the twins from the war period (watching the queen for a long time) the next queen of fallen angles was born in the war period (she was born with one white wing and other with black) a priest from their kingdom with black magic separated the princess into twins one with white wings and other with black wings (now these two children are the next queens of the lost kingdom of Fallen Angles). days passed and both children of Kouji were similar in their abilities so their flying skills also improved as they grew. On the other side, the twins are in training they got each trainer to train them, and after many days passed they became the best in their style of swordsmanship. One day the elder one was in the training session, and outside the temple, something happened he went there and checked what happened, and there was a book of forbidden magic he took the book and ran away from that place before someone saw him. he thought first the book is not needed for him as his brother is good at white magic he wanted help from his trainer he went and asked is there any way to learn magic fast and his trainer said there is no other way than this. learning magic is a process with patience and determination. days passed and he was interested in that book and he started learning the basics of black magic and also the summoning of 12 Guardian beasts the summoning failed every time so he left that topic and started the next topic. the black magic of forbidden has been sealed from that region. there are many black magic users in the region. As the days passed the elder son of the king learned everything from the book of forbidden magic tried many magic spells and mastered books by himself.

A month passed.....

arena matches are started every year. all over the region, the news went and many people came to participate in the event. the people they had never met had come together and made teams. in each team, six members are the maximum limit for the team of twins the other four members are the Twin Fallen Angles two others one is from n.japan and last one from s.japan, their powers are equally matched in albites, and the prelims are going to begin in few minutes.

One month before the arena matches going to start.....

the twins started searching for the members they needed meanwhile the separated twins came and searched to team up with someone equal to their level and they started duels with everyone who seemed equal to their abilities the twins decided to beat them and ask them to join the team to participate in the arena. the duel lasted nearly half a day but there was no winner on either side so they came to the decision girls decided to join their team after joining they asked where the other two teammates were. they told them that they needed to search for them before today ended. and the girls told that with only a few hours left, it would be difficult to find we needed to rush divide and find the two members. the day was going to end in two hours they got to find two members and register for the arena they saw two new people coming from different regions they asked them to join their team and those two asked to prove their abilities so we could join and they showed their abilities (twins showed their special powers) and they obeyed to join and they went to register for arena after registration they went to the kingdom and introduced to their father and after that, they went to train in their way so they decided to divide into two teams and prepare for arena younger twin, white-winged girl, n.japan boy got teamed up and elder twin, black-winged girl, s.japan boy got teamed then they started training in two ways.

Present one day before arena matches.....

all six members were ready for a showdown and got equipped with armory and weapons. the matchings were decided randomly in four sets. As prelims started they won all prelims without any damage. the prelims got divided into four sets and the team got divided into 2 sets they needed to win a set each and they won two sets at the finals they won the arena. and the twins got back to training with their new friends their bond became strong. meanwhile, the general of the kingdom died due to illness and the army was disturbed so finding a new general was not going well so the king decided to start a tournament to decide on 4 new generals as the tournament started the qualified people all over Japan. a team from the underworld came to participate in the tournament to find the demon overlord who was born in Japan, they found that one among the twins was their king. the tournament had begun and the people who came to the tournament were eagerly waiting for battle at last the team from the underworld came and ready for the tournament and they saw the twins and they wanted to know who is the king of the underworld so they kept calm till the final match the finals have started and the team from underworld won the tournament and the winning team asked we need to see the abilities of twins by fighting them 2 vs 2 if you agree only, there is no problem said by the king and they started to fight before engaging the duel prince told that the duels will not be simultaneous. first, my brother fought and then I told the elder prince then few movements later the younger one won the new general of the east, then the duel between the elder prince and the general of the west started and the prince won the duel meanwhile the other two generals watching who could be the king of Underworld.

The Past Story:

This conversation is between the twins and the head priest.....

Once there lived an angle called 'Diendes' due to the conflicts of war between the devils and angles, His friends and his family suffered a lot so he questioned the Arc Angle 'Meaies' and they Exiled him and his followers from heaven that is the beginning of Fallen Angels

This is the beginning of a new clan of Fallen Angles and there is only one rule never trust Angles again, Diendes found a place where all Fallen Angles can live. Now that place is ruled by 'KOUJI AKATSKI' the name of the clan is given by Diende's wife.

Kouji is the 16th successor of the clan this is the story of fourteen hundred years, Diendes is the vanguard of Fallen Angles so he decided to take charge to protect everyone so that no one will get hurt again, he is best of the best fighters, and next selecting candidate of Arc Angle so he decided to train some people to defend against the Demons and Angles.

The new era of three-sided war started and the Fallen Angles got some unknown powers that affected both Demons and Angles, Now they can use Dark Magic and Enchanted Weapons (These weapons can hurt both gods and devils).

Guardian Beast of Heaven is under the control of Diendes's White Tiger (Kohaku) its Element is Lightning, There are Six Elements Light, Dark, Fire, Water, Earth, and air.

In these Six elements, a person can master only Three or Two types in their lifetime, the person with more than four elements aptitude may lose control of his scenes and evolve into an unknown creature, these creatures have scenes of animals and appearance wise also, These creatures are called as Demi-Humans(Beast men).

There is a festival every year in the seventh month and in that festival, everyone can participate in that summons festival where the summoning beasts fight long side with the summoner, a person can have only two or three summon beasts if the beast is a Guardian you cannot have more than two beasts including Guardian,

If your magical aptitude is equal to or more than the summon beast only then it will obey to have a contract with you, there are five tires of summon beast classes.

1. Heavenly (12 Guardian Beasts)

2. Enchanted Beasts

3. Magical Beasts

4. Wild Beasts

5. Ordinary Beasts

There are dark beasts that only serve Arc Demons and Demon generals.

Back to the story.....

Some demons are treated less joined the Fallen Angles those who joined them were the generals of past Demon Lords they taught the people of Diendes how to fight high-level magic with enchanted gear like instant fire enchantment on the sword, and instant thunder enchantment on a spear and other now the clan is growing so the started gathering some info on the upcoming war of Holy Grill, the Holy Grill can bring peace to both worlds, the Holy Grill appears only once in a hundred years.

At last, the war started and many people died in that war for that Grill only surviving clan is the Diendes clan, the Vanguard is 1500 members and Diendes next Demons and at rear Beast men who lead by the Leorious (lion beast man) and at the end of the war the Fallen Angles were deceived by an Arc Angle, and the Holy Grill itself cursed all Arc Angles that whenever you face the Fallen Angles you can't win even the numbers are on your side and the Holy Grill disappears.

After that, all Arc Angles never went after Fallen Angles and the hatred towards the Demons and Fallen Angles never left their hearts.

After that many things changed AKATSKI clan became an Empire that no one knew the whereabouts like it never existed on the map, the barrier around the Empire was chanted by three species of that clan, and no one could enter without an invitation, for building that Empire it took two decades, in the meantime there are many causalities low-level devils attacked and lost, Beast men are defeating Demons nearby dungeon's.

Now underworld needs the power to destroy two enemies to conquer the world and then dominate Humans, Demi-Humans, Fallen Angles, and Angles.

Then the AKATSUKI clan came up with a treaty that they wouldn't battle until they were attacked by any one of them Arc Angles signed the treaty with those conditions but Demons didn't agree to that and left, they left because of some of the Demon Generals were sided to Fallen Angles the Demons want to take those traitors and punish them according to the Demon law.

Demons are of three types 

1. Arc Demons

2. Devils

3. Slaves 

where the Demons all possess some amount of magical aptitude to survive, In the exceptional candidates who possess high magical aptitude will be taken to the Demon Army some will become Generals and Arc Demons.

According to the Demon Law, the Demons never choose their next Lord, there are no succession issues the next Demon Lord will be chosen by the present Demon Lord's written will but not his or her blood cannot become the next Demon Lord, till fifteen hundred the written will.

The Demon Law was written by Lucifer (He is an Angle and also the First Demon Lord).

The Demons and Angles are afraid of only a single species that exists Top of the Food Chain"Elder Dragons" and one of the greatest is in 12 Guardian Beasts.

The 12 Guardian Beasts each represent a month in a year.

1. White Tiger

2. Red Elder Dragon

3. Phoenix (Fire Bird)

4. Snake Emperor (Half Dragon)

5.  Elemental Bull (The Destroyer)

6. Raven (The Bad Luck)

7. Swan (The Good Luck)

8. War Maiden (Convertible Weapon. In-Human)

9. Moon Wolf (The Loyal Pack)

10. Frost Fang (In-Human Crocodile)

11. Cerberus (Three Headed Hound that guards the doors of Hell)

12. Griffin (The sky creature that resembles the lion's body and eagle head and claws)

There is a treaty signed by both Demons and Angles to an Elder Dragon (That too a soul treaty), A treaty that bonds two souls given to that treaty guarded by an Elder Dragon, The first kings of both Species The God Angle & The Lucifer the treaty is not to kill a Dragon at any cost if someone from their race killed a Dragon, the Elder Dragon of that ruling period can go to war on that species. Because the Dragons are divine creatures.

Once there was a clash between Demons and Fallen Angles the Demons had the upper hand but the king of Fallen Angles summoned the two Guardian Beasts White Tiger and War Maiden he got equipped with War Maiden Armour and White Tiger converted into a Thunder Spear and after that, the war turned favor to Fallen Angles.

There is a small group led by "Kuppi Rayes" (Rayes is a war-helping clan to Fallen Angles) the total members are 25 including Kuppi Rayes, all are combat veterinarians they are skilled at all arts of killing Demons and Angles.

There is a reason for helping the Fallen Angles the Rayes clan was destroyed in the fight between Angles and Demons, Some of the clan survivors visited Hidden Village and asked for help and they invited them to join in this conflict and they agreed on a condition only 25 people of our clan will come to war and no one should question them and treat the others as equals village agreed on that signed a treaty.

Behind all this war going on, there is a marriage held in the country of humans and they are all massacred by an Arc Demon in that full place filled with blood there are no bodies not even bones left there the Demon left nothing but the blood of the people.

All because to summon the low-level demons as an army to march on death on the human villages to do a Two-sided attack to kill both races.

There is a species of different people running around the same region the species has five tribes and all tribes are mages tribes two tribes only deal with defense magic like barriers and chains of restrain, one tribe is good at offensive magic and the other two are like creation magic and summoning magic.

They want to protect themselves from the demonic army and they seal themselves in a barrier of combination chain restrain it can only be undone from outside and the low-level demons can't do that so the hidden Fallen Angles clan people are scouting on that area ad report that to the "Rayes Clan Mage" and the wife of Kuppi Rayes, named "Sha'Hal Rayes" come to help the people with an army of five thousand people of Beast clan and they help the county to be free from demons and "Sha'Hal" undo the seal and ask them to join the "AKATSKI" and the head of the five tribes "Lena Blood Wil" accept the offer and she cast the ancient spell that heals everyone's wounds and critical injuries and they move to Hidden kingdom of Fallen Angles.

And new alliance is formed and they seek protection and equality in return the council accepts that in return offensive mages should train the soldiers who have mana and Don't know how to control it, and others do the same, and "Lena" will be the new seat in the council.

End Of The Year:

The days passed and the year is about to end same as every year so council members are planning to decide that at the end of every year, we will celebrate a festival in the name of "Thanksgiving Day".

There is a Legend whenever you do this festival there will be peace and happiness in people and the festival brings joy and hope to the people who lost someone in their life and move on in their life.

There is one more legend that says about a tale of the superior creature known as the King of all beasts will be breeding in this season, especially at the end of the year that beast is untamable when it's fully grown, That beast should be tamed when it's at an early age, there were only a few people alive who tamed those beasts two of them are in this country.

King's Order is no one is to hunt the person who tames the beast and keeps the beast as a summoning animal forever till it meets its death.

King of all beasts is not a Heavenly creature but it has the same or more magical capacity as Heavenly Beasts, The creature is a Shape shapeshifter it actually looks like a Dragon in shape and is also called "Silver Leap" because its scales shine like silver and these creatures only breed at leap years, These beings are friendly & formidable, Silver leap breed in the "Forest of Life".

According to another legend, there is another Mythical Beast that lurks under the shadows of the "Forest of Dead" territory beyond the Forest of Life until the Mythical Age no one saw the creature and someone says that is a Shadow Demon that can be used as Summon Demon that can turn into Black Flame Armor.

The Mythical Beast that lurks under shadows is a "Shadow Beast"(a class of outsiders native to the plane of shadow . They included the four-armed, cat-like; ferocious crocodilian; and the powerful elephantine). and the majority of people cannot see this creature with their naked eyes, they should have Demonic eyes.

And at last, the hunt started and the lead group in Hunt was Rayes Clansmen, Beastmen and villagers participated and the count increased to 9053, some of them caught Snow Wolves as their mounts, and others hunted the Inferno Wolves, Mountain lions, Worg(Crossbreed of Wolf and hyena), Nightmare(A Pegasus put through the torture of having its wings sheared from its body is transformed into the dreaded Nightmare), Felldrakes(They originated when a group of powerful elven wizards helped Bahamut turn back a demonic invasion), Canoloths( loyal hounds, serving both as guardians and trackers for their masters) and even Some people caught Owlbear(looked like a cross between an Owl and a Bear. Notoriously aggressive and ferocious).

Displacer(a predatory feline monstrous magical creature), Cwn Annwn(Wild Hunt hounds), Thunderherders(a rare species of large worm-like creatures) beasts caught by one of the Rayes clansmen, At the end of the event there are many companion beasts with people and the most powerful beasts among is a Battle Wolf, Owlbear king and some rare species of beasts caught and most of the rare beasts belong to Army and Rayes Clansmen.

In the end, no one caught "Shadow Beast" but "Silver Leap" was caught by the Newest member of the Rayes Clan.
