True Lies

Eddie was a cool guy, who has got many friends. He was the star of any circle of friends he made.Teena, his best friend who knew him from childhood itself, both of them were that much close to each other. They were studying in Moris college. 

As the college was off, Teena thought to meet Eddie in his home. She set out to leave from home. When she reached his home, she found a guy who was not familiar to her. Eddie was shocked to see Teena in his home at that time. He asked

"What actually bring u here now"? 

The question and the presence of a stranger made her nervous, by seeying all this the stranger left home. Teena breathes easily and asked, " Who is that guy"? "I did not see him before anywhere here".

Eddie said " He is my friend"."Why do you want to know everything "."He left because of you".Teena became very upset n worried by seeying Eddie's strange behaviour. But she was not ready to leave him alone, as she wanted to know the truth about this unfamiliar friend of her friend. 

Eddie does not say anything, he tried to change the topic of their discussion. This made Teena once again suspicious of her friend's behaviour. She starts to observe him. 

As the very next day , she went out to college. But Eddie was seen nowhere. She bunked the class and went in search off him. As she reached his cottage, again she is surprised to see the stranger there. With his presence Eddie was that much cheerful as he was never before. She did not enter the house then. After a while she knocked the door without showing that she shas seen the stranger there. Eddie opened the door. 

Why didn't you come to college today" Asked Teena. 

"I am not that well"." You can leave now, meet you tomorrow " Said Eddie. 

Teena did not understand anything, ahe didn't ask anything further. Eddie did not say another word. So Teena left from there. 

Teena could not sleep at night. "Who is that guy, who often visits Eddie"." Why Eddie is reluctant to introduce, or say about anything of him"."What is the matter between them"."Are they just frineds"."Is something going between them".Lot of question come across through her mind. 

Teena decided to have a talk with,Eddie the very next day. Both of them met at the college corridor. 

"Eddie, I want to have a talk with you".Talk to me very frankly".

Eddie said as if nothing happened. " What is the matter Teena"? 

Teena got angry, "why are you acting before me." " Am I your friend? "

"Of course, you are my best friend".

" Then why are you hiding some matters from me" "You look like some one who possesss the secret of some treasure"

Eddie looked down and said, "I am sorry Teena"." Till now I did not reveal this matter to anyone else"."The man you saw is my boy friend n my mate"."I am a gay".

Teena was shocked "Is that matter, why did not tell it to me before. "" You could have told me a word about this"."Why worried about that".

"We live in a society where everything is viewed from a prejudiced perspective. Even a tans guy is viewed as abnormal. The how could such a society value homosexuality. Even women are lacking freedom just being normal. Then what will be the fate of me and my kind of people".

The social norms should change to give equality for all ,irrespective of class, caste, gender, and colour etc. Then only we can call this world a heavlny one. But this becomes only a utopian ideal, existing only in an imaginary world- A true lie!!!
