Traveling in the train, sitting still for literally 2 whole days! It was hard to wait, but the thought of visiting my Nani kept me patient.

Our station was the last. When the train stopped at the station before ours, most of the place was empty and only a few people were left. I got the liberty of going on all of the empty seats. It was wonderful.

After an hour or two, we reached- finally! We took our luggage and got out. My mama was waiting there to pick us up. We got in the car.

Within an hour, we reached my Nani's house. I hugged my Nani and Nanaji. It was late at night, so we had dinner and slept.

The next morning, I had my breakfast and played in the garden a bit. Then I saw my Nanaji was heading out somewhere. He said he was going to 'Durgasthan', which is a Durga temple nearby. I joined him and took some flowers in my flower basket.

On the way there, I saw many people. Some were grazing the cows and buffaloes. We worshipped at the temple and returned, on the way my Nanaji bought me my favorite chocolate.

One day my Mama took me and my cousins to our backyard, which was more like a mini forest, since it was full of literal full-grown trees and thick bushes. He told us to find and bring a few bricks, which were be found lying at the very end of the boundary, where we rarely ever went. Then we got some dry sticks, twigs and some dry leaves to make a fireplace. My mama bought some Maggi from the market, and we cooked on our diy-fireplace. Then he (my mama) served the Maggi on big leaves, which gave me jungle-survival vibes (hey, I was 8, what do you expect?).

I didn't realize when time flew by, and suddenly all the bags were packed, and it was time to go. Needless to say, I was very sad. Well, I convinced myself; at least I will get to meet my friends now!
