Tom's Bad Day

Tom had a really bad day. All because of the black cat who crossed his path at the 13th street. First of all he fell down of his cycle and hurt his knee. Then he was robbed and he also cut his finger while cutting vegetables. All because of the black cat who crossed his path at the 13th street.

Tom lived on the 4th street, and he hardly went beyond 9th street, where his uncle lived but today he had to buy vegetables from the 19th street. It was bit far, so he decided to cycle all the way. The day was going brilliantly until he saw the cat. he had got some money as his birthday gift, now he was going to get evenmore money if he bought the vegetables. But the black cat crossed his way on the 13th street and things started getting worse.

First of all, just as he passed the cat, he vrashed into a telephonepole and his knee was severaly bleeding. He dragged his cycle all the way to the 19th street and was returning back. He had some money left with him and wanted to buy an ice-cream . He looked happily at his money. He would finally eat an ice-cream after months. But he had no such luck. Just as reaching the shop, a man wearing black mask approached towards him and robbed away all his money. He reached home and started cutting some potatoes for dinner. He was cutting so quickly that by mistake he cuthis own finger. Tom didn't believe in superstitions. But today he had no choice. He had no other explanation for it. There were many bad occurences in a one single day. It had to be the black cat. He wasn't scared of cats or didn't have a grudge against them, in facthe loved cats. He even owned a brown cat, but she was lost since the last ten days. The black cat sort of reminded him of his own cat, but Tom put that thought out of his mind. Tom was now busy. He had important matters on hand. He had to find out to whom the black cat beling. He had to take revenge.

Tom went to the 13th street and looked around for the cat. He easily spotted it as it was a wearing a really shiny diamond-studded collar. Tom waited and waited for the cat to go home. The cat turned, and Tom followed. The cat led him to a flower shop. A girl was in theb flower shop selling flowers. The cat was apparently the girl's pet. The girl must have the same bad luck as Tom to be fair. Tom decided quite a few tricks that he would be playing on the girl. He would first wreck her shop, and then heb would deench her fully. This will teach her a lesson. Tom grinned at his own evil plan. He rearranged everything in the shop and then as soon as she would enter the shop a bucket full of water would fall on her.

Tom waited for her to come. The girl was surprised to see the new arrangement of the shop. Then it was Tom's turn to be shocked- the water fell on the girl and the cat; the girl stayed as she was but the cat turned brown from black. It was Tom's cat!
