The Unexpected Disaster.

This story is about a man on a long journey who gets interrupted by a disaster.

There was this man named Collins. He was on a journey to Alaska and then into the artic.

He was a biker and was also a swimmer. He lived in southern Mexico. So it was a long journey for him as he had never traveled for this long distance. Collins took almost a week or two to get ready for this adventure. The distance between southern Mexico and Alaska is probably more than four thousand kilometers. He had to get really ready for this journey. He had to check the petrol in his bike if its low he had to fill it up to the limit that it does not overflow. Then he had proper foot and hand gaurds and whether they are not going to break eventually. So he had to buy some new gaurds. He also had to buy some new accessories for his important stuff like tools so he can fix anything if something goes wrong in the bike or if the wheels of the bike get punctured. He waited more for two weeks so that his friends, relatives and his family can spend more time with him as he was going to be away or at least a year. Before spending his money on special gear, he stayed awake a night or two thinking about whether he should go to Alaska or not. And even if he went to Alaska will he go to the Artic or not.

Off he started with his journey. You would think that how could Collins go to the artic. There’s this point in artic named ‘The dead horse’. Riders and tourists go upto that point only. If people go any further they will die as the amount of oxygen in that area is very low. Collins new this fact and had decided to possibly take a picture of himself on the point ‘the dead horse’. By the time I was telling all of this, Collins reached the border between the united states of America known as the USA in short and Mexico. After weeks of traveling and staying in inns at nights. But there was a huge problem. There was a natural disaster. There was going to be a whirlpool in the Artic ocean. As Collins was traveling every now and then he didn’t know anything. After he entered Alaska, he stayed there for two or three days. Later he decided to go on the dock which will lead him to the artic. The people asked him where he was going when he was in the middle of the ocean he saw whirlpool.

        

The ship sank in the whirlpool never to be seen after that. I guess every story doesn’t have a happy ending but this one has. As Collins was a swimmer days after the whirlpool he swam till he reached the Alaskan coast. Finally, he reported the rescue of the other people who were on the boat. That’s how Collins got his rescue badge.
