One Sunday Morning, Mary living in a small bungalow in Manhattan, got a thought of switching into a new big bungalow as his daughter was growing up and her friends came up for party often. Daughter Roze was excited to live in a big bungalow so she advised Mary her mom to search one online.

First Day of Research. Mary and Roze sat in front of the computer screen searching for a new bungalow to buy. During the search, Roze told, “Mom I want to live in a big, luxury bungalow to show my friends and to play.” Mary replied, “Roze budget is also important. We will look for a big bungalow in our budget.” Roze became upset after hearing this statement; she sadly walked toward her room and closed the door with a bang. While Roze was in her room playing games, Mary began to get tired calling the owners and surfing the net. She was about to shut down the computer when she saw a ‘Big, brown, old Bungalow’. She called Roze from her room, Roze came slowly towards here thinking, “Now what in the world mo has to show me?” Mary showed the images of the bungalow to Roze. Roze filled with joy spoke, “This is the one mom!!! This is the one which I was looking for!” Mary added, “This is in our budget also! I’ll call up the owner and I’ll fix a date to book the house.” Mary next called up the owner and they fixed a date.

On the decided date, Mary drove Roze to college and then continued to see the bungalow. The owner was waiting at the door when Mary arrived. The owner greeted Mary. “Good morning Ma’am I was waiting for you. Before everything, I just want to warn you that there is a typewriter in the drawing-room, so I would request you to lock the room as it is a little dangerous.” Mary replied, “I will keep it in mind.” Then Mary and the owner finalised the house. Mary called up the Packers and Movers to pack their things and sift them in the new house.

All the stuff was shifted within 3 days. When Roze and Mary officially entered the house they were very excited, Roze selected 2 of the bedrooms for herself. She was puzzled seeing the door of the drawing room locked, but she let it go. As it was 7 pm, they had their dinner and set off to bed.

About 3 am, Roze was woken up by a loud noise. Roze was scared and called Mary but she was fast asleep so Roze took a bat in her hand and went out in the corridor, she found that the noise was coming from the drawing-room. Roze came downstairs slowly and reached the drawing room. She was just about to open the door she heard a loud female cry. Roze rushed as fast as she could into her room.

The next day when Mary came to wake up Roze for collage, Roze was on her bed shivering, scared and sitting. Mary asked Roze what had happened, Roze then told Mary everything that had happened. Mary after hearing all that told Roze it would be a dream. But Roze knew that it was not.

After a tire some day at work Mary picked up Roze from college, Roze was still thinking of last night. After having dinner they went to sleep.

Roze woke up by the same sound as last night, this time she went to Mary’s room and woke up Mary. Then both Mary and Roze took a bat in hand and went downstairs towards the drawing room. But his time they were ready for the cry. Then Mary tried to open the door, she was surprised seeing the door unlocked. They entered the room, and the door behind closed with a bang, and locked. Then after some time they saw the books flying, typewriter writing by itself, paintings speaking and brushes flying. After seeing this they fell unconscious, nauseous, fell on the ground and died.

After the incident, the police investigated the room the next morning and only spotted the typewriter and their bodies. The owner told that he left this house because of the sounds only and that he had already warned them.

The mystery of the house, the typewriter and the sounds and what killed them was never solved since 1975. The house remained untouched since then. The typewriter is still sitting in the drawing-room of the house.
