The Two Best Friends

Scene-1

Once lived two best friends, named Felix and Max. They lived on Soledad Island but, unfortunately, lost their parents when a destructive thunderstorm occurred in their area. They were kind and loyal, but Max was a little bit selfish. One day they went into the jungle for a walk. They saw a river and decided to take a bath. Max didn't know how to swim, so Felix helped him and taught Max swimming. They continued walking and saw a tornado coming towards them. Max was expert in running so, in order to get shelter he ran as fast as he can. Felix was not this good at running and was a little slow. He asked Max to help him but he denied it and left him all alone. Somehow, Felix managed to escape the tornado and sheltered in a den.

Scene-1                                  

When the tornado died, Felix rushed to his home and found Max enjoying his meal. Max said, "Well! Finally, you reached home." Felix replied," Having a friend like you, is like adding salt in a tea instead of sugar. You're unbearable! You don't deserve to be my friend" "Think about yourself, you were slower than a snail! " After hearing this Felix, left his home permanently and never returned to Max. Max kept thinking, did he say something wrong that Felix felt bad? Anyway, Felix on the other hand, thought that all those years he spent with Max, was nothing but an illusion. One day, Felix was searching for some fruits until he saw Max sitting under a shade of a tree. They took a glimpse at each other but didn't utter a word. They were seeing each other for almost two months! Suddenly, they heard a big roar.

Scene-2                                 

They thought that it was a sound of a lion, and their guess was proved to be right. They started running but this time, it was a little opposite. Felix was living in the jungle so he could fast and that day, he realized, he was running even faster than Max. Max was slow, even frightened, and in his fear, he fell down and sprained his ankle. Felix give him a helping hand and took him to his den where he had been living. Today, Max realized that his friend has the truest sense of friendship. He apologized to Felix and brought him back home. Together, they lived a happy as well as prosperous life.
