The Three Brothers

Once upon a time there lived a wise Brahmin In the town of Meghdapur in Punjab.

He had three sons. They always used to play and fight on silly things.

So one day the Brahmin wanted to teach a lesson to them about the importance to be together. 

He summoned his sons to the living room and gave each of them a stick.

“Break the sticks my sons "said the Brahmin.

All three of the sons broke the stick.

They told to their father “ha see how easily we broke the stick give us something harder”

Then their father gave each of them a bundle of sticks and told them to break it.

They tried but could not break it.

His father told “when they were separated you could break them but when they were together you could not “

And his father also narrated a story “there lived a forest suddenly a thunderstorm appeared the trees were not scared because they were together and so a tree near the forest was broken by the thunderstorm”.

The boys understood and never fought again.
