Darshan had a son named Nirmal. Both were very fond of one another. One day they went for vacation to a nearby forest at night, not knowing the place was haunted. They set up the camp on ruined buildings. Suddenly Nirmal heard a loud sound and woke up. He saw the demon roaring around, his father also woke up. Both huddled each other in fear. Demon walked towards them and he said, "I am very hungry, after a long time I found human." Tell me whom shall I eat first?" with a deep breath Nirmal said. "Eat me as my father is too old and his flesh would not be as tasty as mine. "No ! Darshan said loudly, "Please! spare my son; he has a long life to live, I have enjoyed all happiness in life, so eat me instead." "No, no, eat me." said Nirmal while crying. "Please Leave my son said Darshan." Now both were crying. The demon himself was astonished by the love and affection, and he left the place.
