The One With The Puppy

I had a bittersweet day today! The day started with the good news that no live classes were scheduled today. I was overwhelmed after hearing this. I got ready and went downstairs to play with my new friend, Brownie. I found him sitting on my stairs today. It looked like he was waiting for me. It saw me and ran towards me, we started playing with a ball. After some time my mother called me back for lunch. I didn't realize that the puppy had followed me to my home. Unfortunately, it was my mother who opened the gate for me. She got furious on seeing the puppy outside the main entrance. She angrily told me to leave the puppy in the park. Saddened by this, I lifted the puppy and went to leave him. After coming back my mother was not very happy with me. She told me to wash my hands properly and sit down to eat. In the evening when I went back to the park, Brownie didn't come towards me even after I called him so many times. I thought he is angry with me. This made me sad and I returned back to my home. As soon as I reached home, I saw my mother standing at the gate looking for me. I was scared that I went outside without telling her and she might scold me for this. My mother called me inside as soon as she saw me. She warned me not to go outside as the coronavirus that is spreading is harmful to our lives. I understood that my mother was afraid of the disease and she wanted me to stay protected. She gave me a hand sanitizer and a mask and advised me to keep my hands clean and not touch anything uselessly. Then, my family sat down to some prayers and wish for peace and health all over the world. It was a hectic day!
